Gerard Vall joined our office in Barcelona in March 2018. Gerard got his law degree in the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He made afterwards a postgraduate in legal practice in Barcelona Law School and a Master degree in Maritime Law and Shipping Business in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has collaborated in several firms focused in labour and civil law. Moreover, his previous experience working both in a freight forwarder and in a world renowned shipping line has given him a more extensive insight of the shipping business.
Gerard is an active member of the Barcelona BAR association and to the Commission of Maritime Law. He drafted his final dissertation on maritime privileges, naval mortgage and vessel preventive foreclosure observed in Spanish maritime law.
